Dic 16, 2022 | 0 Comentarios

On December 14th, VAMOS promoted a Masterclass with the support of the Brazilian Universities that make up  our team: UFPE, UFPA and UTFPR. The guest was Oskar Metsavaht, CEO and Founder of Osklen and UNESCO Ambassador for Sustainability. HIs talk lasted two hours and was incredibly inspiring.

Oskar’s speech connected issues related to innovation, aesthetics as well as  the ethical aspect of the fashion industry . A very deep and enriching  debate ensued with several references to timeframes and UN conferences for the environment and how they have influenced the development of the brand created by Osklen himself.

During the Masterclass, we were shown two videos at the request of our guest. Both were true calls to action and addressed urgent issues, not only for Brazil, but for the world: respect for native peoples, preservation of our forests, care for the ocean. Oskar’s speech also indicated the urgency for Universities and fashion brands  to be better  connected to develop robust actions to help solve complex problems related to the preservation of the planet.
