Steering committee meeting – January 2022

Jan 26, 2022 | 0 comments

The first steering committee meeting of 2022 was utilised as a point to reflect on the project’s
previous year and future. Partly to commemorate the great strides in development that VAMOS
has achieved during 2021, as well as to lay the groundwork for the year ahead. A central theme
of the project update was evaluation – as the presentations covered feedback from the recently
performed VAMOS check-in- and the UNICollaboration training evaluation. Followingly, the
update covered future options of how to best incorporate the evaluation points gathered from
respondents to improve VAMOS’ growth.

The latter part of the meeting concerned the possibility of hosting an in-person meeting during
the spring of 2022. The committee agreed upon the many benefits of the idea, yet also voiced
concern over the precarious situation due to the high transmission of COVID-19. Considering the
risks posed by the circumstances, the committee agreed that the best course of action was to
postpone the date for an in-person meeting until a later point of 2022 when the situation had
ameliorated.
