VAMOS Steering Committee meeting

Apr 16, 2021 | 0 comments

During the meeting of our VAMOS Steering Committee in April, Nicolas Maillard – one of our two external evaluators – introduced himself. As the former dean of International Relations at the Federal University Rio Grande in Brazil, he brings in a lot of expertise regarding capacity building projects. Nicolas will focus on assessing the effectiveness of our project management as well as the impact and relevance of VAMOS in general. Alastair Creelman as our second external evaluator is an e-learning specialist. Therefore, his assessments will center around virtual teaching and collaboration within VAMOS.

Next to introducing our two external evaluators, the Steering Committee also reviewed the list of VAMOS’ stakeholders and potential partners. In break-out rooms, all members discussed who could be added to the list. What are the benefits of joining our VAMOS project? And what is our mutual interest in the project? After aligning goals and objectives, all members of the Steering Committee agreed to prepare invitation letters which will be sent out to relevant stakeholders who could then join our VAMOS community. The more, the merrier, right?
